Poland - Warsaw

Polands capital city, Warsaw, was reduced to ruins around the time of WW11 in a deliberate attempt to destroy Polish traditions. The reconstruction of the Old Town took years. Warsaw's Historic Centre is now included on the UNESCO world heritage list.
